She was predeceased by: her husband Claude; her parents, Andrew Hidvegi and Elizabeth Hidvegi; her aunt Rose Macko (Louis); her cousin Bill (Butch); and her uncles, Andy, Julius and John Varadi.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Letourneau; her grandchildren, Andrew Penney and Caitlin Penney (Will); her friends, Marianne Schlett (Arpi) and Elizabeth Martin; her goddaughter Jeanette Letourneau; her cousin Lillian Climenhage (Stirling); her goddaughter Lori-Ann Vandenbosch (Jim); Mackenzie, Spencer, Carter and Joanna. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family respectfully requests for everyone attending the church service and cemetery to wear a mask.
Memorial donations in Irene's memory can be made to the Parish Community of St Kevin, St John the Baptist or Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Churches.
