It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Roy (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on June 20, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Julien Veillette; her parents, Émile and Félixine; and her siblings, Rosaire (Gisèle), Marcel (Huguette), Antoine (Huguette), André, Léon, Florès, Noella, Anne Marie and Thérèse.

She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Jolin (Guy), Lucie Faucher (René), Jacinthe Clarke (Richard), Marianne Labbé (Gaston), Isabelle Murkin (Peter) and Pierre Veillette (Karyn); her sister Rose (late Fernand); and her son Stéphane Leclair. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and her 8 great-grandchildren.

Donations in honour of Irène, made to Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
