She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie Sumbler; her parents, Giuseppe Veltri (Joe) and Vincenza Veltri; her brothers, Patrick (late Hattie), Orlando (late Shirley) and Ronald; and her niece Maria Marotta.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Sumbler (Stella), Diana Burger (Rudolf) and Tim Sumbler (Sheryl); her grandchildren, Ariana Whitman (Rodger), Dane Sumbler (Jing), Nathan Burger, Haley Burger (Daniel), Kolby Sumbler and Kalen Sumbler; her great grandchildren, Rodger Whitman Jr., Dane Whitman and Kai Li-Sumbler; her sisters, Helen Pupo (late Angelo), Yolanda Pellegrino (late Frank) and Carol Guite (late Dwight); her sister-in-law Ruby Veltri; her friend Mary Balog; her son Andrew; and her cousins, Madeline, Orland and Diane Bafaro. She is also survived by the brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and the many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.
