He was predeceased by: his daughter Elaine Kennedy; his parent John; and his sibling Howard. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Kennedy, Caroline Landry (Paul), Laurie-Ann Iannetti (Domenico), Mary-Ellen Coutu (Rick) and Elizabeth Kennedy (Tom); his grandchildren, Karrie Lynn, Jonathan (Priscilla), Brandon (Lindsay), Jake, Gabriella, Larissa (Wayne), Christopher and Daniele; his great grandchildren, Kalli, Cobain, Ethan and Lily; his parent Elizabeth; and his siblings, Vincent, Rudy and Corinne.

Memorial donations in Ivan's memory may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
