Jean-Thomas Blais Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean-Thomas Blais (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Eugénie (Guillemette); and his brothers, Ovila (Dora), Émilien (Yvette), Gérard (Berthe), Henri Louis (Lucienne), Gaston (Jeannette) and Jean-Marie (Anne-Marie).
He is survived by: his wife Mariette; his children, Jocelyne (Alain Breton), Denise (Bruce Hesler), Marc (Meredith), Pierre, André (Louise), Jacques (Debbie), Marianne (Alan Wojcik) and Annette (Jean Claude Savard); his grandchildren, Nicolas (Rebecca), Richard (Julie), Katrine (Tarik), Mathieu, Julien, Luke, Jenna (Mark), Jessica (Jessie), Kristen, Celesta, Mackenzie, Carole Anne (Alex), Karine (Michel) and Marie Claude; his great grandchildren, Thea, Reya, Eddie, Chloé, Liam, Léo, Henri, Molly, Stella, Layla, Ollie and Arnaud Forever; his siblings, Cécile Bisson (late Alphonse), Simone Bergeron (late Raymond) and Guy (Janet); and his sisters-in-law, June Blais, Madeleine, Diane, Lise (Rudy), Ghislaine and Vivianne. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 6 to 8 p. m. We respectfully ask that visitors wear a mask during their visit.
