He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Rose and Joe Rose; his brother Don (Jane); his nephews, Donald, David Rose and Tom Baxter; and his parents-in-law, Doris and Tom Baxter.

He is survived by: his wife Neitha; his goddaughter Laura Van Koughnett (David); his daughters, Natalie and Eleanor; his niece Monica Rose DeFrancesco (Tom); his nephew Tom Rose (Paula); his great-nephew Michael; his great-niece Sophia; Keith Baxter, Cathy Rempel, Susan Zavadil and Sandra Lang.
