It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Mollica (Welland, Ontario), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John (Giovanni) and Jean (Vincenza); his sister Mary; his brother-in-law Tony Saracino; his sister Jean Ann; his brother-in-law Larry Cousineau; and his brothers, Pat (Pasquale) and Nick (Domenic).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Tessier-Mollica; his children, Albert (Deborah), Carol Girouard (Bruno), Gavin (Carla) and Paula Heezen (Bill); his sister Teresa Havran (Michael); his sister-in-law Mary; his stepchildren, Lois Leong (Peter), Laurie Mindorff (Chris) and Sandy Burns (Britta); his siblings-in-law, Rita Tessier-Driscoll and Greg Driscoll; and his stepdaughter Louise Didyk. He is also survived by 9 grand children, 5 great-grand children, 6 step grand children and 2 step great-grand children.
Cremation has taken place and due to CoVid 19 attendance restrictions, a private funeral mass for immediate family will be held at the Parish Community of St. Kevin, 307 Niagara Street, Welland.
