He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Aurora; his son Michael; his grandchildren, Elijah and Zander; his sibling Jocelyn Vloet; and his sister-in-law Sharon.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his son Stephen "Steve"; his grandchildren, Malachiah "Ki", Mikey, Emma, Lucas, Cayden and Issac; his great grandchildren, Elliott and Scarlett; his siblings, Gilles "Gil", Joanne Allen (Steve) and Helen Levesque Koros; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Van Natter (Susan), Laurie Lafleur (Ron) and John Godard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many, many cousins.
