He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludger and Leontine; and his siblings, Rejean and Monique. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Schaeffer; his granddaughter Gabrielle (Brendan); and his siblings, Lilianne Beauparlant (late Mike), Bibianne Resch and Marc Lehoux (Diane).
