He was predeceased by : his wife Jeannine Labbé (Légaré); his children, Léo, Joseph, André and Jeanne; his siblings, Roger (late Huguette) and Ghislaine (late Jean-Claude); and his parents, Adélard and Marie-Ange.

He is survived by : his children, Diane (Rosaire), Lise and Louis II (Nancy); his grandchildren, Salvatore, Anna, Shawn, Ronald, Kia and Louis III; his great grandchildren, Courtney, William, Melyna, Haylee, Benjamin and Rose; his siblings, Louisette (Maurice Godbout), Marie-Blanche (Roland), Marcel (Gisele), Jean-Claude (Monique), Émile (late Francine), Denis (Suzanne), Denise (Jacques), Monique (Adrien) and Gabriel (Marianne); and his parents-in-law, Yvette (late Léandre) and Réal (Dianne).
