She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Walt" Matthews; her parents, Cecile Chasse and Horace Chasse; and her siblings, Yolanda Garbari (Roy), Gisele Rodrigue (Andy), Claude Chasse, Camil Chasse (Donna) and Reynald "Ray" Chasse.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Denis (Gaston), Angela Mongrain (Robin), Thomas "Randy" Farr (late Kim) and Jennifer Bolton (Doug); her siblings, Francis Demeester (Don), Clair Leblanc (Yvon) and Marcel Chasse (Rita); and her sisters-in-law, Girlie Chasse and Rita Chasse. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Welland, ON L3C5A4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
