He was predeceased by: his parents, Donat Guenette and Maria Guenette; his siblings, Wilfred, Paul and Simone; and his former wife Marie-Ange.

He is survived by: his wife Lise Guenette; his children, Mario (Lorna) and Sylvie (Allain); his brothers, Roland and André; and his grandchildren, Patrick (Katie), Kevin (Deborah), Daniel and Annie.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Alzheimer's Society of Niagara Region would be greatly appreciated by the family.
