With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Anne Stickles of Welland, Ontario, who passed away on May 27, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Daniel Stickles and David Lee; her parents, Clarence McDowell and Doris McDowell; and her brother Roly McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Lee (Rose), Arthur Lee (Stefanie), Beverley Findlay (Samuel), Shelly Peacock (Brett) and Brenda Harlen (Neill); her brother Jack McDowell (Betty); her grandchildren, Arthur Lee, Ruth Ho (Wayne), Melissa Spry (Kevin), Evelyn Stern (Jeri), Brianna Reed (Jeff), Lauren Peacock, David Lee, Jonathan Findlay (Emily), Elisabeth Vidler (Caleb), Caroline Lee, Connor Harlen and Ryan Harlen; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Abigail, Johanna, Josiah, Wesley, Rafael and Emersyn.
Especially during the recent Covid-19 pandemic, Pastor Adam Rich, Carole Rich and the entire congregation were like family, always supporting and caring for her, checking in on her when she couldn't attend regular services in person and, most recently, giving her rides to her medical appointments and visiting her to keep her company and to let her know that she wasn't alone.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Alzheimer Society of Canada, The Kidney Foundation of Canada or Beacon Baptist Church (Welland) would be appreciated by the family.
