He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores; his parents, Matthew Sr. and Agnes (Vrbanac); his parents-in-law, Vincent and Mary DiLeo; his sisters, Anne Buchkowski (Edward) and Vera Galic (Charles); his brother-in-law Walter Secen; and his nephew Karl Secen.
He is survived by: his children, Mark, Cheryl Rome-Holloway (Kevin) and Brian; his grandchildren, Alexandra Veilleux (Bryan), Alexander, Christina Rome, Orlean and Emma Holloway; his great grandchildren, Maelle and Esmee Veilleux; his siblings, Kathy Secen and Tom; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Anne Rome and Vince DiLeo (Anne). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In memory of Matthew, donations may be made to Wellspring Niagara or the Croatian National Home, Welland.
