He was predeceased by: his grandson Preston. He is survived by: his wife Tamara; his children, Steven Pragnell (Stefanie) and Julie Lane (Scott); his grandchildren, Dax, Meagan, Jenna and Alyssa; and his brothers, Stanley Pragnell (Judith) and Phil Pragnell. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mel's honour may be made to a COPD charity, supporting others facing the illness he lived with.
