It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Sorbara in Welland, Ontario, who passed away on October 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Luigi Sorbara and Giuseppina Sorbara; his siblings, Nancy Bruzzese (Frank), Domenic'Mimi'Sorbara, Eva Toderick (Kevin) and Luigina Giddens (Ben); his children, Luigi (Sarah), Pina and Catherine (Ryan); his granddaughters, Sofia and Natalia; his nephews, Bruno, Domenico and Angelo Nero; his wife Diamante; and his granddaughter Alessia.

“To the SORBARA FAMILY My condolences to all of you. What a beautiful tribute to Mike. He was certainly a true gentleman! Unfortunately, I did not know him as well as I knew Eva, Gina, & Nancy ! He certainly had a heart of gold as was evident when he offered to chauffeur my sister Bruna to St. Michael’s Nursing School in 1970. In my high school days, his name was always mentioned with pride & high regards for his academic prowess. May he rest in peace! Angie Mannella”
