Nick Turkovich Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 15, 2022, at the age of 85, Nick Turkovich of Welland, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luka Turkovich and Kata Turkovich; his siblings, John Turkovich (Rita) and Anne Bedekovich; his stepsister Barbara Novosel (George); his cousin Blaz Turkovich; and his sister-in-law Mary Bukovac.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Nick Jr. (Barb), Debbie Turkovich (Steve) and Mary Kay Kalagian (Merritt); his grandchildren, Mikaela, Ehrin, Nicholas, Luka, Tadhg and Sadhbh; and his cousin Mira Turkovich. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Parish on Wednesday July 20 at 11:00 a. m. Guests are encouraged to wear masks.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Veseli Hrvati, of the Croatian National Home.
