He was predeceased by: his parents, Wolfgang Goller and Shirley Goller; and his father-in-law Garry Wirt. He is survived by: his significant other Charlene Goller (Wirt); his children, Danielle Bender (James) and Devin Bender (Beca); his grandson Clark Bender; and his siblings, Shanie Lane (Marty), John McGowan (Rodica), Trevor McGowan and Louise Goller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with his furbabies.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the SPCA as Paul loved animals.
