It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Mattei (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elena; his parents, Francesco Mattei and Mary Bambina Mattei; his parents-in-law, Carlo Garofalo and Virginia Garofalo; his brothers, Tony Mattei and Chris Mattei; and his siblings-in-law, Domenic Nigro, Alex Garofalo, Albert Garofalo, Carlo Rubino, Mary Mattei, Antonina Mattei and Fiorina Rubino.

He is survived by: his children, Enzo (Jeanette), Anthony (April Comfort) and Mary Henning (Barry); his grandchildren, Chad Mattei, Telina Campeau (Randy), Trevor Mattei, Emily Graham and Megan Henning; his great grandchildren, Mathew, Nathan and Lexie; his siblings, Zelinda Nigro, Flora Vecchiarelli (Guilio), Guerino Mattei and Joe Mattei (Irene); and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Garofalo and Noreen Garofalo. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
