He was predeceased by: his spouse Sylvia; his parents, Lorne Atkinson and Hazel Atkinson; his siblings, Ruby Turner, Wilburt, Robert, Leslie, Margery Silverthorne and Evelyn Bulitz; and his stepsiblings, Clarence Robbins, Clifford Robbins and Beatrice Henry.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Marie (Rose), Harold (Sue), Beverly Kelly, Shane (Rose), Brian (Laura) and Albert (Wendy); his sibling Ira (Sharon); and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Atkinson, Noreen Atkinson, Earl Smith and Claude Wilcox (Bettie).
