He was predeceased by: his former wife Claudette; his wife Cécile; his grandson Remi; his parents, Joseph and Pearl; his brother Maurice; and his sister-in-law Faye.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Daniel (Candy) and Tracy Daniel (Linda); his stepchildren, Annie Descoteaux (Daniel), Jenny Rochefort and Dean Rochefort; his grandchildren, Ryan (Coralie), Jordan (Taylor), Brandon (Heather), Josée (Curtis), Christine (Justin), Justin (Michelle), Sarah (Chantel), Jesse, Zach, Amanda (Robert) and Johnny; his great grandchildren, Keyah, Ferah, Zenon, Avrielle, Jocelyne, Léo and Aiden; his brother Joseph Daniel (Pearl); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Daniel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
