Silvestro Moccia Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, at the age of 88, Silvestro Moccia (Welland, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Moccia; and his parents, Aurelio Moccia and Giuseppina Moccia. He is survived by: his children, Josie Simpson (Tony Mete) and John Moccia (Christine); his grandchildren, Lindsay Simpson (Chris Ivanovs), Andrea Simpson (Kyle Alves), Terrin Covello (Dan), Cocoa Moccia (Carson Minor) and Ashley Shisler (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Nico, Lucas, Luna, Vienna, Blakely, Amelia and Aurelia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the J. J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence (19 Young St, Welland, ON L3B4C5). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Community Parish of St. Kevin (303 Niagara St, Welland, ON L3C1K5). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens (2250 ON-20, Fonthill, ON L0S1E6).
