She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexandre Giguère and Eugénie Migneault; and her husband Gérard Samson. She is survived by: her children, Guy (Kathy Pasto), Nelson (Cindy Wood) and Linda Robertson (Naomi Brooks); her grandchildren, Lee-Stahr, Najjah, Rosa (Jake), Samara, Seth and Lorien; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Ari and Zoe.
