She was predeceased by: her husband Ray. She is survived by: her brothers, Brad (late Grace) and Rick (Phyllis); her siblings' children, Kristen (Jack), Andrew (Laurie), Mathew (Susan) and Owen; her great-nieces, Mackenna, Paige, Merrit and Aiden; and her great-nephew Tai.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Welland, ON L3C5A4). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5).
Trudy was a devoted contributor to the Retired Teachers of Ontario Foundation which supports many programs to eliminate social isolation. If you would like to recognize her joy of life and exuberance, a donation in kind could be made to this wonderful charity.
