Velma Nobes Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Velma Nobes (Welland, Ontario), born in Stayner, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Synnott and Esther Lorena (Knisley); her husband Herbert Arthur Nobes; her daughters, Shirley Ferrusi, Sandra of Smit and Lorena Jacqueline Nobes; her great grandchild Patrick Ferrusi; her parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Nobes; and her brothers, Norman, Leighton, Howard and Frank Synnott.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Santarella (Barney), Robert Nobes (Linda Dagenais) and Herbert Nobes (Heather Harris); her sons-in-law, Rob of Smit and Alfred Ferrusi; and her brothers, Ken (Pat) of Nova Scotia, Ray (Gail) and Bert (Ruth). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Velma, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or to the Northland Pointe Ladies Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated by the family. As a memorial tribute, a tree will be planted through The Niagara Woodlands Restoration Program.
