She was predeceased by : her parents, Alderic Groulx and Malvina Groulx; her husband George Menicanin; her siblings, Theo, John (late Marie-Claire), David (late Mary) and Rita Thompson (late Louis Holmes); and her parents-in-law, Mary Paonessa, Vera, Steve Kovacs (Spike) and Katie Menicanin.

She is survived by : her children, Michael (Lesley) and Stephanie (Rimy); her grandchildren, Heather, Judy, Katharine, Benjamin, Nicholas, Zachary and William; her great grandchildren, Taeo, Jemma and Jacob; and her sisters, Lorette Marion and Bay.

In lieu of flowers or in memory of Yvette, donations may be made to Fonds Foyer Richelieu Foundation or to St. Kevin's Memorial Fund.
