He is survived by: his spouse Rennie; his siblings, Margaret and Bert Smit; his stepchildren, Lora, John Veenhuis, Albert, Hannie Fledderus and Renata Fledderus; his grandchildren, Michael, Trish Veenhuis, Miruna Veenhuis, Jason Philip, Kimberly Veenhuis Kurtis, Caitlin Fledderus, Brad, Yolanda Fledderus, Jennifer, Phil Zandstra, Wyatt, Abigail, Waylon, Brantley, George, Oscar, Maria Fledderus, Heather Fledderus and William Fledderus; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Anita Smit, Sharon and Drew Fecik.
