He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Phyllis; his children, Colleen McElwain (Troy) of Guelph and Sean Doherty (Dino Zoccheddu) of London, England.; his granddaughters, Katie and Megan McElwain; and his siblings, Eamon (Cammie), Patrick (Karen), Michael (Charlene), Mary Bailey (Loris), Teresa Kelsey and Joseph Doherty.
