He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Marie Hofford (Lane); his parents, Homer Hofford and Evelyn Hofford; and his brothers, Jim (Erma) and Ian (late Cathy).

He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce (late Joanne), Judith Lambert (late Bob) and Richard (Nancy); and his brother-in-law Ken Lane Will (Gary Routliffe). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces.
