He was predeceased by : his wife Idamay; his parents, Roy and Bessie; and his sister Nancy. He is survived by : his children, Jane, Joe (Carrie) and Jeff; his close friend Karen Currah (family: Julie, Donald, Emma, Jordan, Hannah, Riley McIntyre); his siblings, John (Thelma) and Mary Lou Winkler (Fred); and his close friend Gilbert Poole.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the London Regional Cancer Program – Cancer Research, West Elgin Daffodil Society – Welfare, or West Elgin Daffodil Society – Auxiliary Cancer, would be appreciated by the family.
