He was predeceased by : his wife Elisa; and his children, Jacob Loewen (Maria), Isaac Loewen and Benjamine Loewen (Katharina). He is survived by : his daughters, Katharina Rempel (George), Elisabeth Redekop (John), Sara Redekop (Abe) and Maria Banman (Peter). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
