He was predeceased by: his wife Elena Peters; and his sons, Herman Peters, Benjamin Wiebe and Peter. He is survived by: his children, Sara Peters, Aganetha, Jacob Friesen, Abram, Helena Peters, Anna, Gerhard Goertzen, Margaretha Peters, Maria Peters, Katharina, Jeremy Enns and Elizabeth. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
