With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Hoar (Whitby, Ontario), born in Keene, Ontario, who passed away on July 20, 2019 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Hoar to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis Reginald Kenneth (Frank); her brothers, Gerard Carey (late Luella), Stanley Carey and Ron Carey; her brother-in-law Jerome Hoar; and her parents, George Carey and Mary (Heffernan).
She is survived by: her children, Ken (Colleen), Mary Anne Follest (Ted), Stephen (Lorna), Stanley, Frank (Lynette) and Lorraine Kent (Wallace); her brother Carl Carey (Bev); and her siblings-in-law, LouAnn Carey and James Haar (late Jean) of Canton Michigan. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A reception will follow at Bishop Doyle Knights of Columbus Hall in memory of Anna, donations to Lakeridge Health Whitby, Complex Continuing Care or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
