It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lyon of Whitby, Ontario, born in Oshawa, Ontario, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Philip Norman Lyon of Oshawa; and her parents, Lilian Constance and Alymer Powell (Ren). She is survived by: her children, Sandra Rossiter (Barry) and Philip Lyon (Anita); her grandchildren, Sydney Dinovitzer (Malcolm), Lauren Rossiter (Riley Hathaway), Corinna and Aaron Lyon; her brother James Powell (Joanne); her niece Patricia; her nephew David Powell; and her great-niece Kathleen Powell.
