He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Marianna Heiss and Helmut Diemer. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Grace Ewles (Tom Gatien) and Derek Diemer; his close friend Lily Thomas; and his sister Bridgette (Rudy Smolka). He is also survived by his friends, extended family and nieces and nephews.
