She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Newhook and Elsie Newhook; her siblings, Leroy (Kathleen) and Rita Mercer (Melvin); her brother-in-law George Mercer; and her parents-in-law, James Pike and Margaret Pike.

She is survived by: her husband Cyril Pike; her sons, Clyde Brown (Clarice) of Steady Brook, NL, Kevin Brown (Debbie) of Pugwash, NS, Brian Brown of Dartmouth, NS and Lori Brown of Ontario; her grandchildren, Gregory Pike of Steady Brook, NL, Christie Pike (Ben Hoogendoorn) of Squamish, BC, Mandy Spry (Dan) of Halifax, NS, Amber Festerling (Garrett) of Mannheim, Germany Pike, Adam Pike (Allyssa Wells) of Corner Brook, NL and Kristen Janes of Ottawa, ON; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Spry, Jakob Spry, Ruby Festerling, Kensley Wells-Pike and McKenna Wells-Childs; her siblings, Isabel Pretty (Alfred) of Dildo, NL and Albert Newhook (Greta) of Corner Brook, NL; her brother-in-law Eric Pike (Adeline) of Whitby, ON; and also, Margaret Mercer of Blaketown, NL, Raymond Newhook (Maxine) of Old Shop, NL and Bruce Newhook (Laura) of Old Shop, NL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
