It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Catherine Schad (Whitby, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Gordon Schad. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Rienstra (Luke), Kathryn Besco (Randolph), Darlene Byng and Gordon (Patrice); and her sister Welma (Jack). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Fern has requested any donations in her memory be forwarded to Westminster United Church.
