Frances Annie Edwards Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Thursday August 21, 2025 in her 102nd year.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bud (Harold), in 2005 and her Grandson Kevin Lapointe in 2006.

Frances is survived by her son Ken Edwards (Roberta), daughters Beverly Lapointe (Hartney), Dian Soper, and daughter-in-law Judy.

Lovingly remembered by her grandsons: Robert (Pat), Raymond (Danielle), Richard (Jennifer), Ronald (Sarah), Nick (Deborah), and Kyle.

Great Grandma to Tanner (Kaitlyn), Jordin (Doug), Lucas, Joshua, Daniel, Jacob, Caleb, Noah, Cynthia (Paul), Selina (Cruz) and Leland.

Cherished great-great-grandma of Lily & Finn.

Frances is survived by her sister Monica Christie & niece Brenda and is pre-deceased by her siblings John, Joe, Steve, Edward, Beatrice, and Mary.

Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thicson Rd. North Whitby on Friday, August 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service honouring Frances' life will be held in the Barnes Chapel on Saturday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m. Refreshments to follow.
