It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Hendrika (Koenderink) Van Soelen (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away on March 17, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Herman Marius Van Soelen; her former husband Adrianus Hellemond; her brother Albert Koenderink; her wife Riet (Saskatchewan); her siblings, Jeanetta Falter (Koenderink), Corneilis Koenderink (Cees) and Jerry Koenderink (Myrla); and also, Geradus (Gerry) and Gijsje (Grace).
She is survived by: her parents, Albert and Alida (Van Lindt); her children, John Hellemond (Lois), Alida Callaghan (George) and Albert Hellemond (Shirley) of Oshawa; her stepchildren, Anna VandenBrink (Hank) of Sparta, Wilma Ykema (Gary) of Eastwood, Betty Devries (Dick) of Hamilton, Joan Desira (Tar) of Peterborough and Albert Van Soelen (Wendy) of Woodstock; and her grandchild Step. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
