He is survived by: his parents, Carlisle French and Laura Smith; his siblings, Norma, Bruce and Jack; his wife Shirley; his children, Carl of Hamilton, Leslie, Patricia (Michael Cassidy) and Robert (Ute); and his great grandchildren, Julian, Camron, Victoria Fox, Charlotte Jankovich, Annabelle Jankovich and Harley Garant.
