Jane Ellen Dignan Obituary

Born: November 21, 1938 Died: April29, 2025 Passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital with her family by her side. Jane was the youngest of 8 children of Alfred and Emma Whitlock (nee: Stripling). She is predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Edward Dignan.

Jane is predeceased by some of her siblings; Jim and Gladys Chisholm (nee: Whitlock), Ken and Doreen Mulholland (nee: Whitlock), Bob and Irene Atkinson (nee: Whitlock), Murray and Evelyn Rathbone (nee: Whitbock), and her brother Alfred and Violet Whitlock. She is also survived by her older sisters Winnifred and Joseph Occhipinti (predeceased) and Doris Scott (nee: Whitlock).

Jane was the dear mother of Vincent and Heather Dignan (nee: Copland), Theresa Gibson (nee: Dignan) and Grant Gibson, Predeceased by Mark Dignan and Shirley (nee: Biastoch) and Matthew and Tracy Dignan (nee: Pingle).
