With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joanne Jitske Reinsma of Whitby, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joanne Jitske left this world on May 11, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Kristen Reinsma; her siblings, Wietske Bakker, Meinte Veninga and Henk Veninga; and also, Annie Koopmans, Grace Buruma, Jannete Vander Meulen, John Veninga and Hennie Oosterhoff.

She is survived by: her husband Ken; her sons, Rick Reinsma (Jean), Kevin Reinsma (Tanya) and John Reinsma; her grandchildren, Derrick Reinsma (Melissa), Nicole Lock (Thomas), Justin Reinsma (Rachel Purdy) and Megan Reinsma; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Reinsma, Luke Reinsma, Jackson Lock, Evelyn Lock and Christian Lock.
