He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Rose (Joseph); and his sister Katie. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his sons, Joseph (Heather) and Tony (Pamela); and his siblings, Tona, Lucy, Gusa, Tessie and Joseph. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In memory of John, donations may be made to the House of Providence in Malta.
