He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lynn, Pat and Susan. He is survived by: his significant other Jan Schmidt; his children, Michel (Jennifer), Donald (Jamie) and Katherine (Michael); his siblings, Jacqueline (Gerald), Grace (Norm) and Mary (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Jack, Geoffrey, Michael Jr, Bryanna, Myriah, MaKayla, Isabel, Sera-Lynn and Adrianna.
Memorial donations in John's memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
