She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Vincent Rangala and Ellen Cecila Rangala; her daughter Aloma Bernadette Wijesinghe; her sister Irene Rita Kulasekera; and her brother-in-law Mervin Kulaskera.

She is survived by: her husband Edmund Christopher Wijesinghe; her daughter Dushyanthi Anne Weerasinghe; her granddaughters, Michelle Fernando and Andrea Amaro; her son-in-law Rohan Weerasinghe; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Ava and Zoe; her grandson Shawn Fernando; her sibling's children, Lasanthie Tilakratne and Melitus Kulasekera; and her grandsons, Max and Preston.
