He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kathleen, Arthur and Joyce. He is survived by: his spouse Louise of Whitby; his child Janice Paterson (Jim) of Oshawa; his grandchildren, Krista Hester (Kevin) and Kyle Paterson (Heidi); and his great grandchildren, Lucas Hester, Grady Hester, Brody Paterson and Jake Paterson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
