She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Baird and Patricia Baird; her husband Marcel LaBarre; her child Michele LaBarre Huinink; and her siblings, Joan Demoe and Johnny Baird (Janice).

She is survived by: her children, Mary Louise LaBarre (Ken Reilly), Patti LaBarre, Babette (Peter Darcy), Bernadette (late Eric Dumigan), Danielle (Garry Robinson) and Nicole (Mark Stire); her foster children, Carolyn S, Diane L, Marie S and Chris D.; her siblings, Danny Baird (Nancy), Carol Demoe (late Ron), Kathy Webb and Elizabeth Baird; and her grandchildren, Samuel, Adrienne, Christopher, Ashley, Kyle, Kevin, Ryan, Colin, Morgan, Gregory, Jennifer, Alison, Caitlin, Laura, Natalie, Nathan, Nicholas, Zachary and Jacob.
