He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; his parents, Vera Nelson and Robert Nelson; and his brothers, Robert and Ralph Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Nelson and Ian Nelson (Amy); his grandchildren, Emma, Julia and Miles; and his brothers, Roy (Roxana), Roger and Rodney. He is also survived by his family, friends.
