“I'm in shock, Ron and I were the same age. I had the pleasure of working with the "Star" at the Scarborough Post Office he was a driver and I worked the docks, we use to have so many crazy mornings with Ron and the other drivers teasing and razing him all in fun. I'll always remember Ron's big laugh and the great times we had. I wish to give my sincere condolences to the Lindley family for this tragic loss. R I P big fellow. Patrick Beauvais”

“Ron Lindley was just a great guy. End ot story. When he would pull his truck into 280 Progress where we all worked at the time everyone would yell its THE STAR!!. He would laugh so hard and say your all nuts. If you were having a down day he could brighten up. Not a vindictive bone in his body. Just a great guy. R.I.P. Ron.(THE STAR).”
