She was predeceased by: her father Francisco Fernandez Siles. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jonathan (Caitlin), Melissa, Paul and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Finlay, Jack and Angus; and her siblings, Vivian (Ross), Bob (Pat) and Lucille (Joe). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
